Take Home Whitening Kits
Take Home Whitening Kits provide you the opportunity to control the level of “whiteness” that is natural for you. A registered dentist will come to your home or office and prepare a custom-fit tray and then educate and demonstrate to you the simple whitening process. Also, your custom maintenance kit allows you to “touch up” your smile as needed.
The Procedure:
1.
Impressions are taken of your teeth.
2.
Custom-made fitted trays are prepared to specifically contour around your teeth (note: these are NOT inferior, standard sized boil and bite trays).
3.
A kit containing whitening gel, syringes and instructions is given to you with your custom trays.
What to Expect:
1. Decreased sensitivity compared to the professional Zoom! Power Whitening system.
2.
Gradual whitening over a period of a week or two provided you are diligent and follow the instructions carefully.
3. Patience and diligence is needed with this method. Although you will get whitening of your teeth even after the first day you use it, you won’t get optimal results if you do not apply the gel every day for the period of time instructed.
4. An added advantage is that you get to control how white you’d like your teeth to be.
What NOT to Expect:
Instant results after applying the gel once, as white as what Zoom! Power Whitening can produce in an hour. You may get the same results as Zoom! Power Whitening if you apply the gel as per instructions for a period of approximately 2 weeks. |
