Zoom! Power Whitening
Zoom! Power Whitening provides a whiter, brighter smile in less than an hour. This innovative procedure, performed by a highly trained and registered dentist, is now available to you in the comfort and privacy of your own home or office. In addition, your maintenance kit allows you to “touch up” your smile as needed.

The Process:

  • Impressions are taken to make whitening trays specifically designed to accurately fit around your teeth.
  • Your lips and gums are isolated with barriers.
  • Whitening gel is applied to your teeth. A special Zoom! Advanced Power light is used to activate the gel. The gel is then removed after 15 minutes and fresh gel is applied. This process is repeated 3- 4 times.
  • Gel is then applied to the teeth to help decrease sensitivity.
After the procedure, you are given a kit containing:

    • Custom made trays
    • ‘Top-up’ whitening gel to use for touch-up treatment at home
    • Desensitising relief gel to help with any transient sensitivity

What to Expect
Your teeth will be at least 6 shades whiter in under an hour! Plus, you have a touch up maintenance kit to use when you feel your smile needs a little boost! With professional teeth whitening there is usually some sensitivity following treatment. The sensitivity experienced is transient and usually subsides within a couple of days to a week. The severity of sensitivity depends on each individual with some people reporting no sensitivity at all. To aid with sensitivity, it is advisable to use the relief gel given to you in your kit as well as a de-sensitising toothpaste.

What NOT to Expect
You may have heard horror stories of burned lips and gums after a whitening procedure. Since White Smile Professionals are qualified dentists working in private practices in Sydney, you can be assured that we take every measure possible to protect your lips and gums so as to not damage or burn them in any manner. “Whitening Booths” seen in supermarkets or shopping centers are NOT qualified dentists and are NOT legally allowed to place any whitening gel on patient’s teeth. These amateur centers may cause damage to the patient’s teeth, lips and gums. Be cautious and ask plenty of questions if you are considering treatments at one of these booths. The most important question is, “Will a dentist be whitening my teeth?”
